The Amsterdam balloon Company is rooted in a long tradition of happenings by various groups from the magical centre of Amsterdam. from the tumultous days of the PROVO movement onward, a liberation of the mind and nature has been spread by words and deeds by movements like
:"Deskundologisch Labaratorium, Insektensekte, Comitee 2000, Bohemian Mystery School, Royal Dutch Eclipse Club", to name just a few, working together occasionally under the name of
Amsterdam Balloon Company.

It is based on friendship and a common sympathy for the fantastic and revolutionary arts. the Company organizes regular manifestations and festivals all over the world, to provide a platform for the free spirit. In fact, everybody in the world possesing a free spirit is considered a member of the Balloon Company. Only after a written request this membership will be cancelled, but never longer than for one week.
